If  you know me in person, then you already know that there is no such thing as too much Star Wars, in my opinion. I’ve read almost all of the books in the new canon, I’ve watched all the movies dozens of times, and I even took up running because of Star Wars.

In the past several years, I have managed to get many doses of Star Wars at the Disney parks, especially as Hollywood Studios has become more and more focused on bringing the franchise to life. On this May the Fourth, it seemed like a great chance to share a few of those moments!

Despite the lack of open attractions at Hollywood Studios for the time being (until Toy Story Land opens on June 30th this year!), what remains operational at the moment is largely Star Wars themed. Just outside Star Tours, young padawans are trained in the art of lightsaber fighting and the ways of the Force. Eventually, an unexpected visitor puts their skills to the test.

Most recently, I had the chance to see Darth Vader in Hong Kong. Though the concept was similar to the Trials of the Temple show in Hollywood Studios, it was exciting to see it in a different park, in a different language, just outside the Star-Wars themed Hyperspace Mountain roller coaster.

Needless to say, I’m excited not only for the upcoming Solo movie, but also for the opening of Star Wars Land at Disney World next year. Anything to immerse myself in a galaxy far, far away!

Love, Elizabeth
